    The payment rates for the NOx Fund in 2025 will be 12 and 18 NOK/kg.

    The payment rates for the NOx Fund increases from 17.50 to 18 NOK per kg of NOx emissions for petroleum activities on the continental shelf. For other activities covered by the NOx tax, it increases from 11.50 to 12 NOK per kg of NOx. The increase takes effect from  the first quarter of 2025 (the period January 1st to March 31st).  The increase is necessary to finance the support programs of the NOx Fund.
