The NOx Fund increases the support rate to 600 NOK/kg in 2024
For applications that receive support approval after January 1st, 2024, the support rate will be 600 NOK/kg.
The current support rate is 500 NOK per kilogram of reduced NOx, limited to a maximum of 70% of the cost. The NOx Fund has decided to increase the support rate to 600 NOK per kilogram for measures with support approval after January 1st, 2024. The reason for the increase is higher costs associated with emission reducing measures.
It is up to the applicants to decide whether they want to wait until after the new year to have their applications processed if it is not time critical. There will likely be more changes in the support program effective from the new year. However, these changes are pending board approval on December 12 and will not be formally confirmed until that time.
