The NOx Fund's board meeting in October will not decide on support for new applications. However, starting in December, the NOx Fund will introduce prioritisation among applications under review.

The NOx Fund will postpone decisions on support for new measures applications until the board meeting on December 10th. This applies to all new applications except those previously promised clarification on October 29th.

Applications can still be submitted on an ongoing basis and evaluated continuously.

The reason for postponing decisions is to prioritise between applications and ensure the Fund has a more comprehensive portfolio of applications to assess against each other. Due to the large volume of applications and support allocations in 2024, the NOx Fund has found it necessary to introduce prioritisation among applications. A similar prioritisation was also done in 2019. Prioritisation means that applications may face delayed processing or rejection, even if an application meets the NOx Fund’s support criteria.
