5/4/2023 | Støtteordninger / Fundings, Olje og gass / Oil and Gas Deepsea Nordkapp with new measures that reduce 320 tons of NOx Odfjell Invest AS has received a payment of 70 million NOK from the NOx Fund related to investments in NOx-reducing measures on the drilling rig Deepsea Nordkapp, which have resulted in a reduction of approximately 320 tons of NOx per year.

Altogether, the projects provide an estimated NOx reduction of 730 tonnes and a support amount of approx. NOK 188 million.

All companies must sign the new Supplementary Agreement for 2026-2027 in order to be entitled to a tax exemption from the state from 1st January 2026.

8/15/2022 Confidentiality of applications for support for NOx-reducing measures The NOx Fund has decided to be stricter on accepting what is confidential or not confidential on submitted applications for support for NOx-reducing measures. The decision enters into force with immediate effect.
6/20/2022 | NOx-reduksjoner / NOx reductions, Olje og gass / Oil and Gas Energy efficiency measures on Transocean rigs There is a potential to reduce substantial amounts of CO2 and NOx emissions through improved energy efficiency on drilling rigs. Transocean has implemented energy efficiency measures on its rigs in Norway’s taxable waters with support from the NOx Fund.
